Junior Members Ride0

Sunday 1st February 2015. A juniors/members (all are welcome) ride has been organised for Sunday.

Please meet in the car park at the end of the cycle path in Llanwnda for 9.30 am. I’m not sure where we might be heading. I think we’re best seeing what the weather and road conditions are like in the morning, and take it from there…….If it remains raw, we’ll head for the shelter of the lanes on the Peninsular, and head inland for a final workout.

Please contact John in advance if you wish to come along on this ride, via Facebook, email or telephone.

Polaris Bike Box Hire0

Club member Tom Hutton has invested in some Polaris Pod Pro bike boxes and would be keen to recoup some of the outlay by hiring them out when they are not in use. He has signed up to Polaris’s website www.pod-it.co.uk and will be hiring them at £35/week on there. But he’d like to make them available to Club members at £30 a week, so please get in touch with Tom if you’d like to book them for any trips. All the technical details are on the website

Tom also has a couple of soft/semi hard mountain bike bags for hire.

You can contact Tom via Facebook, or e-mail tom@mtbguiding.co.uk , or phone 07974 912479

Club Kit Design for 2015 and Beyond0

An e-mail has been sent to Club members detailing the proposed designs for our future cycling kit. The changes are in response to the discussions that we had during our 2014 AGM. The supplier has produced some ideas based on what people said during the meeting.

Please take time to study the designs, and let me know what you think.

I look forward to hearing your comments in due course, as your opinions are very important in finalizing the design of what we wear in the future.

Cheers,

John
