Dates for your Diary- 2016 Audax rides

Audax events have once again become a popular past time in the cycling world, and I’m aware that quite a few Club members are taking part in these challenges. If you fancy a great experience, on challenging roads, in some stunning locations and a very reasonable price to enter, then these local-ish events could be for you.

Saturday 23^rd April 2016 The Eureka Rides: Choice of 3 distances starting from the iconic Eureka Cafe at Two Mills on the Wirral.

Saturday 21^st May 2016 Tour of the Berwyns & Panorama Prospect Rides starting from Willington Hall Nr Chester .

The following are the minutes of the Club AGM, held at The Galeri on 10th November 2014. Please read thro’ it all. If you feel that something has not been recorded or recorded incorrectly please let me know asap.

Energy Cycles Club 2014 AGM. 10th November at The Galeri, Caernarfon.

The reasons for an AGM. The Club holds an AGM each year to elect (or re-elect) officials representing the Club and its Members in different aspects of the sport. It is also an opportunity for the Members to discuss what we have achieved in 2014, and what they would like the Club to do for them and the local cycling community as a whole in the year ahead.

Mon Arfon League 10 mile Time Trial, 12.6.140

Thursday 12th May.
The second Energy Cycles Club time trial of the year is on Thursday.

The event is being held on Aberdesach to Llanwnda and back to Aberdesach course (D20/1).

The distance is 10 miles, and is a part of the Mon Arfon League Series. This series of events is open to all Club riders, and is a great way of experiencing short distance time trialing.

Car parking, meeting, and signing-on will be in the Aberdesach Beach Car Park, off the A499, Llanwnda to Pwllheli road. Please keep an eye out for direction signs.

Signing on will be from 6.15pm, with the first rider away at 7.00pm.

Please come along, and see what those hours and miles of training have achieved for you.

After James posted on our Facebook page about strava.com and created a club page on the site I have linked the page to our site here, http://www.energycycles.co.uk/site/strava/ . If you join the club on strava your rides will be viewable to other club members.

This is what the feed looks like.
