This was the first time that this course was used, and despite some inclement weather during the event some fantastic times were produced for such a demanding circuit.

I’d like to thank all the riders for participating, an encouraging turnout considering the weather conditions earlier in the day. I know many of you rode out to the event, some over 20 miles (The Bangor University lads) and home again. You deserve a pat on the back, in fact all of you deserve a pat for taking up the challenge that the event threw down. For a couple of the riders it was their first time competing in a Time Trial, a great show of courage to choose such a tough race to start with, I doubt there is harder circuit time trial around here.
As you are well aware, we needed 12 Marshals and Helpers to enable the event to take place. On behalf of all the riders and myself, I’d like to thank Garry Ellis for pulling together a very capable group of men and women. I would also like to thanks the Marshals for taking charge of their positions and guiding the riders round the course, great effort!!
