The distance is 10 miles, and is the first in the club “Best All Rounder” competition, something new for club members in 2016. This is a part of a series of six time trial type events, including hill climbs and is open to all club members. Points will be awarded to riders based on their placings at the end of each event. At the end of the series the rider with the most points will be the BAR. As usual there are various categories up for grabs, for both male and female riders, and age groups from Juniors through to Super Vets. This a great way of experiencing mixed distance time trialling.

The whole series is open to cyclists from any cycling club, however they are not eligible for the BAR competition.

Car parking, meeting, and signing-on will be in the Aberdesach Beach Car Park, off the A499, Llanwnda to Pwllheli road.

Please keep an eye out for direction signs. Please DO NOT PARK on the approach road to the car park.

Signing on will be from 6.00pm, with the first rider away at 7.01pm.

Please note. ALL riders must have a working rear light fitted in a prominent place and facing backwards on their machine. No light, no ride.

All riders under the age of 18 years of age must wear a suitable helmet, made to British Standards. No helmet, no ride.

All riders under the age of 18 years of age who have not ridden a ECC event before in 2016, must bring a signed Parental Consent form to this event. No form, no ride.

Entry fees. £3.00 for riders 18 years and under. £4.00 for all other riders. Ruth would appreciate change please.:)

Please come along and see what you can do on this sporting course. All we need now is some half decent weather!!

Thank you goes to Jonathan Turnock for the pictorial information and Strava information.

Hope to see you there…….
